I don't seem able to keep up a blog or calendar, so periodic postings can be found on the
WWW-Board. Perhaps at some time in
the future I'll retire for real and have discipline to keep up with daily postings. |

I've been spending time over at Mom and Dad's. Two-thirds of their children were there
as were 40 percent of their great-grandchildren. I didn't stay to see the boys this time,
because if I did, I'd never leave, and I had stuff to do at home.
Lu is prettier, more self-confident, and even more loving than ever. I'm so proud of the progress she has made personally in the past few years. Mel is fun as ever and so much like Mom and me it is too real. I rested before they got there, and they rolled in about 11:30 pm. I got up so we could share computer "ideas". Yeah, that's it. There we sat with three laptops side by side. Who ever would have thought the world would come to this? At least we weren't online chatting with each other like we have done in the past. Bubby rolled in about 1:30 am without a laptop, but with hugs to go round and taking over of the satellite remote.... BTW that is my first exposure to HBO late-nite. First thing, Taxi-Cab Confessions, really startled me. People tell anything! what is strange is that they will actually sign permission for it to get on tv. I wonder if they are paid anything, but I doubt it. Anyway, I lay back on the recliner about 3:30 to begin resting, and went on out to the camper at or near 5:30 am to sleep. Mom let the dog in on us about 7:00, so I got up and spent time with Dad until anybody else got up. I got back home at 1:30 in the afternoon and lay down for a nap, only to be awakened by hubby at 7:00 to go out for supper. Whew!! I was tired!!! but things seem to be back on schedule, with several puters sitting here waiting for my attention. Time to work. |

More puters, and no lunch with Rosie, but she does get to enjoy the weekend with Lisa. That
is good for her, but I will miss lunching. Thinking I really better get out and do those puters,
as I just took another one in. Scott's is ready as soon as the parts come in.
Life is good. Hubby is still working on the motorhome and is getting so much done! He is a good, hard worker and I can see progress each day. It is very exciting. I don't think it will be done for DIL's birthday, though, so we'll likely have to go up in the truck. Maybe next time. |
Well, okay, another Sunday. Click on
the picture
to see a bigger version of why we were late for church.
Regenia's husband, Jr., went fishing and caught the fish. He brought it to us, probably to eat, but since it was coming up on church time, we put it in the pond for later. It weighed 14 pounds. |
| A singing tonight. At our own church. Cromwell Methodist. Portia is with a group called New Heart, and Allison sings with them, as well as soloing. She is nine years old, and I'll be putting some of her project on a web page soon, as well as a link to Portia's group site when it is done. It was quite excellent. The group varies from southern gospel, to contemporary, to "the Andrews Sisters" type stuff. I really liked it, and felt instant kin with Portia. Jean and Doris are pretty good too, but it seems Portia made more of a connection with my soul. Their witnessing was very touching, as well as their singing. |

I'm the best at daily journals of anybody who lives in this house.
It's been busy business-wise lately, as well as visiting.
We've been to visit the grandson, and you can see the latest pics
here. There are two pages,
so be sure to view both.
Still working on the motorhome... I need to make curtains for the front and clean the cabinets and stock them. Hubby is painting the exterior, then we can test it. Visited at Mom and Dad's again today. Sara was in, as well as Mel and Ron. It was especially good to see Sara after so long. I haven't seen her in forever. Baby kitties have had all their shots. She is up to three pounds, and he is just shy of four. |
