My son bought a new computer an HP Pavilion mx 70 last year and it is gotten very slow on coming on and getting on the internet and even shutting down. It doesn't want to go into most of it programs in it.It was doing fine and it was even real fast untill my friends friend talk me into letting this guy look at it. It wouldn't let you on the internet and it wouldn't close down. You would have to use CTRL,ALT DELETE to get off the internet and when you was off the internet and on the regular stuff on the computer it still wouldn't close down and took for ever to come on. So this guy came to my house and he did a few things and then he put black ice on and tryed to put nortin virus on but it wouldn't let it for some reason. He charged me $90.00 for him doing that. And then the very next day later I called him back for it wouldn't close down it keep staying on. I ended up cosing it down by just shoting it off at the button. He came over and did a few things then he said it would be 45.00. But ever sense he was here it doesn't want to shut off and my son called HP support and thay told him to do several differnt things but It I still just do not know why it is still so slow and sometimes it will not let you go on the internet. I do not know much about computers but you worked on my 98 computer and you did a great job on it. Thanks so much it is still doing great. How much would you charge me to speed up my son's computer. He is in high school and he needs it for homework and beside it is new. Why should it be like that- slow and sickly. I just do not like what that guy did to it. It seem so sick now. Please help. Diana
